LOCON group has been operating as a private railway transporter for 17 years, specializing in the railway container transport in Germany but is also active in the area of railway constructions. LOCON’s fleet contains thirty locomotives and more than 250 wagons, moreover, LOCON operates a service center for diesel locomotives and a hub for container trains in Brandenburg.
The acquisition of the railway carrier with the licence for Germany was one of the EPLI’s strategic goals, and after the approval by the anti-trust authorities, LOCON will play a key role in the further development of the logistic group within EPH.
